FAQ

How do I make a Goodbye 2026 recap?

Pick 6 to 12 photos from your year, choose a style and type a short line like "12 trips, 1 new puppy". About 5 minutes later you get 4 vertical recap posters, each with a different layout, ready for TikTok, Instagram Stories or Reels.

Do I need an account?

No. You can add photos and pick a style without signing up, then enter your email at checkout. We email your posters and a sign-in link. You can also continue with Google.

How much does it cost?

2 recaps (8 posters) for $4.99, 5 recaps (20 posters) for $9.99, or 12 recaps (48 posters) for $19.99. You pay once; it's not a subscription. The posters are yours to post, print or send.

How many photos can I use?

Between 6 and 12. Fewer than 6 looks empty; more than 12 gets too small to see on a phone. Pick your favorites from different months.

Can I choose the text on the poster?

The title is always GOODBYE 2026. Underneath it you can write one short line of up to 40 characters, like "12 trips, 1 new puppy" or "The year I ran a marathon".

What size are the posters?

9:16 vertical for TikTok, Reels and Instagram Stories, or 4:5 for an Instagram feed post. Choose before you start. Each poster has a small goodbye2026.com tag in the corner.

Can I share my recap with a link?

Yes. Under your posters, tap Copy a share link. Anyone with the link sees your posters and a button to make their own; the page isn't listed on Google, and it stops working if you delete the recap.

Can I include photos of my kids or my pets?

Yes, your own children and your own pets are fine. Don't upload photos of children who aren't yours, or of public figures.

How long does it take?

Usually about 1 to 5 minutes for all 4 posters (most sets take about a minute); at busy times it can take a little longer. You can close the page; they'll be in My recaps and we email you when they're ready.

Do you keep my photos or train AI on them?

No. Your photos are only used to make your recap and aren't used to train AI. Uploaded photos are deleted after 7 days, and you can delete your posters anytime in My recaps.

What if a poster looks wrong?

The AI keeps the people from your photos and only restyles the layout, light and colors, but now and then a face or a word can come out off. Email support@goodbye2026.com and we refund that recap. If a recap fails, it comes back to your balance automatically.
